A new and potentially very important Code of Practice for Enterprise Content Management has been published by BSI for consultation.  If you care about ECM you should at the very least read it - and if possible you should comment on it.  The consultation process is easy.  Register on the BSI Draft Review website, then find the PAS 89.  You can comment on it section by section online; and/or you can download the entire 50-page Code for easy reading.

The next meeting of the DLM Forum will take place in Brussels on 16th and 17th November.  Expect some lively discussion about the progress of the MoReq2010 initiative, as well as a full programme of other interesting subjects.  DLM Foru mmembers are invited to both days, non-members may register for the second day (click on the relevant link for full details and to register).  

Parts 3, 4 and 5 of the MoReq2010 "Concept Collaboration" are now available for consultation at the MoReq2010 consultation portal.

Incredibly, the consultation period for Parts 4 and 5 is only 2 weeks.  The consultation period for Part 3 is less than 3 weeks - and all this in peak holiday season (don't believe the "start date" shown - it is untrue).  Perhaps that is why only 30 people have submitted comments; all the more reason to make your views known.

The deadline for Parts 3, 4 and 5 is 6 September.  So don't delay!
